H.O.P.E (Help One Person Every Day) Campaign<\/a> is a charitable initiative started by our friends at disAbility- Accessible By Design<\/a> in Edmonton, Alberta in partnership with\u00a0ADAPTABILITIES<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The initiative’s goal- as you may have guessed from the name- is to help one person with a disability everyday and bridge the gap between the disabled and able-bodied communities. The ultimate goal is to build an accessible home for a deserving community member! To become involved individuals or businesses can donate one time or monthly monetary donations, or specific items such as gift cards to restaurants or activities, mobility aids and services. If you know a deserving individual with a disability you can nominate them online here: https:\/\/www.hopecampaign.ca\/nominate<\/a> The nomination criteria is: a resident of the Edmonton area, officially documented disability, which includes, physical, mental or invisible and either by 18 or older or have a parent\/guardian available to accept the award.
