Founder
Megan Heximer: She/Her
Megan is a Registered Social Worker (RSW) based out of Edmonton Alberta. She has worked in the disability services for around 6 years. She is passionate about human rights, social justice and raising awareness about accessibility barriers in the community. It is through Megan’s work with youth with Rett Syndrome that she was inspired to develop AccessABILITY Business Guide after seeing so many barriers and lack of understanding of accessibility in the community. When Megan isn’t working she can be found at home with her two dogs and cat or travelling!
Social Media Assistant
Holly Heximer: She/Her
On top of her help with our social media platforms, Holly is a registered dietitian working in pediatrics. She is also completing her masters in health studies with a focus in leadership and clinical teaching. When she isn’t working or studying you can find her cross-stitching or outside hiking, biking or skiing. She would like to see more accessible spaces especially in smaller communities and is excited to work with AccessABILITY Business Guide to help users share their accessibility experiences.
